Private Market/Funds Management Search – Finance, Accounting and Middle Office
Aria Partners are delighted to be working on a search for a Fund Administration Associate to join a small, high quality family office with long standing investments across private equity fund structures.
This is a hands‑on role in a closely knit, office based team. It will suit someone who enjoys real ownership, exposure to decision makers and the chance to improve how things are done. The role has a strong closed‑end fund administration focus and would appeal to someone coming from a fund administrator or similar environment.
The role will sit at the centre of the firm’s fund and entity operations, acting as the internal coordinator across administrators, advisers and investors, while maintaining and enhancing the data and reporting that underpins the platform.
Key Responsibilities
Fund and entity oversight
- Act as the primary internal contact for offshore fund administrators.
- Oversee day‑to‑day administrative activity across investment vehicles, including fees, costs and structural matters.
- Coordinate with legal, tax and regulatory advisers as required, particularly around lifecycle events and wind‑down activity.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency and control across underlying fund structures.
Investor and portfolio support
- Own and maintain a suite of detailed Excel‑based models and schedules that track fund data and investor information.
- Support ongoing reporting and ad‑hoc information requests from a broad investor base.
- Work with existing automation tools and be open to developing new approaches. This includes exploring whether current Excel heavy processes can be simplified, automated or replaced over time.
- Maintain high standards of data integrity, documentation and record keeping.
Reporting and financial coordination
- Support the preparation and delivery of quarterly and ad‑hoc investor reporting.
- Act as a link between administrators, advisers and internal stakeholders to ensure reporting is timely and accurate.
Requirements
- Background in closed‑end fund administration, fiduciary services or private markets operations.
- Comfortable working with complex Excel models and datasets.
- Curious and pragmatic about process improvement. You do not need to be technical or AI‑literate today, but you should be interested in making systems better.
- Detail‑driven, reliable and comfortable operating in a small team with genuine responsibility.
- Happy in a predominantly office based role in South West London.
