Aria Partners are working with a global alternative credit investment manager looking to hire a Treasury & Finance Associate into its London team. This is a broad junior finance role combining accounting and accounts payable responsibilities with an increasingly significant treasury remit. It would suit someone with strong accounting fundamentals who wants to build broader treasury experience within a growing private credit business.
Sitting within a small London finance team, the role will offer exposure across:
- Day-to-day treasury activity including cash balances, payments, wire setup and online banking
- Accounts payable, invoice processing, coding and approvals
- Cash management and wider treasury requirements across the firm's UK and European operations
- Bookkeeping and maintaining accounting records
- Expense management and working closely with finance colleagues across London and the US
- Some broader office administration within a small London office
While accounting and AP will remain an important part of the position, there is clear scope for the successful candidate to develop much greater treasury responsibility over time as the business continues to grow.
We're ideally looking for someone with:
- 2-4 years’ experience across accounts payable, bookkeeping, junior accounting or treasury support
- Comfortable managing payments, online banking and day-to-day cash activity
- Strong attention to detail and confident working across a varied finance workload
- Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA would be useful but isn’t essential
- Previous experience within financial services, investment management or a similar environment would be advantageous
- Proactive, organised and comfortable working within a small team where responsibilities can be broad
- Keen to learn and take on greater treasury and wider finance responsibility over time
Compensation on offer is likely to be around the £50,000-70,000 basic mark with an annual performance based discretionary bonus and wider benefits package.
