A leading global asset manager operating across private markets is looking for a commercially minded, qualified accountant, ideally 1-2 years PQE or thereabouts, to join their Finance team as a Finance Business Partner. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with senior finance leaders and business stakeholders to provide strategic financial insight, deliver robust planning and forecasting, and shape key decisions that directly influence business performance. You will lead aspects of the month-end process, own key areas of reporting, and provide meaningful analysis and recommendations to boards and committees.

A background working in financial services is essential, ideally asset management or alternatives, but we are open to people from banking, insurance, fintech and alike.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the business to drive the planning cycle – including annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term strategic plans
  • Produce clear, concise financial analysis and executive-ready commentary for senior stakeholders
  • Lead month-end processes and reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and insightful variance analysis
  • Support business cases and strategic initiatives, modelling impacts and identifying risks and opportunities
  • Build strong, trusted relationships across front office to ensure collaboration and influence.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Qualified accountant - ACA/CA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent - with at least 12 months in industry in a management reporting, management accounting, FP&A role or similar
  • Experience working in financial services
  • A strategic thinker who can challenge constructively and drive performance
  • Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint skills, with experience working with large data sets
  • A confident communicator able to tailor insight for a range of stakeholders, from business owners to board members
  • Experience in financial planning, month-end processes, and reporting in a complex environment

This is a fantastic opportunity to influence strategic outcomes, champion value for money, and work across one of the most critical and high-profile segments of the business.

Hybrid working (3 days in the office), with salary in the region of £70-75k base plus bonus and benefits. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not possible for this role and you must hold full unrestricted UK work rights.
