A leading private debt investment manager is seeking to appoint a Treasury Associate on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. This newly created position has been introduced to support continued fund growth and increased transactional activity across multiple investment vehicles.
We’re looking for an individual with proven experience in a treasury or liquidity management role within private debt/credit, with exposure to fund structures, FX, and leveraged financing facilities. Immediate or short notice availability is required.
Treasury & Liquidity ManagementOversee day‑to‑day cash and account management across multiple fund entities, ensuring optimal utilisation of capital and maintaining accurate liquidity forecasts. Support weekly and monthly reporting on available cash and committed capital.
Investment Funding & ExecutionCoordinate the end‑to‑end flow of funds for new investments, refinancings, and realisations. Manage internal approval steps and funding documentation to ensure timely execution and accurate recording of transactions. Support ongoing management of fund financing lines (including ABL, NAV, and subscription facilities). Monitor utilisation, assist with covenant reporting, and ensure compliance with lender requirements and internal deadlines.
FX & Hedging OversightAssist in the execution and monitoring of FX and hedging transactions. Manage related reporting requirements (including ISDA) and oversee settlements and mark‑to‑market processes. Calculate and track investment exit proceeds, monitor performance metrics (IRR and multiple on money), and coordinate the recycling or distribution of proceeds in close collaboration with fund finance teams.
RequirementsCirca 4‑7 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within private debt/credit or private markets. Strong understanding of fund structures, capital flows, and liquidity management. Confident handling multi‑currency transactions and working knowledge of FX and hedging processes.
