The Maintenance Support will work closely with the Maintenance Operative to manage and ensure the safe and pleasant environment for all residents and employees, working closely with wider teams to provide strong leadership and inspiration ensuring the highest service standards are achieved.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that the decoration of the home is to the highest standard and snagging items are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all minor repairs and plumbing are fixed within a timely manner.
- Be responsible for the maintenance of the refuse area and for the removal of clinical waste and rubbish from the home.
- Ensure that electrical equipment and boiler house are maintained and repaired if required.
- Carry out weekly, monthly and annual tests of the equipment and systems within the home.
- Complete all checks and maintain a safe environment for residents, team members and visitors.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar maintenance role is essential.
- Competent in Microsoft Office packages.
- Excellent written, oral, and verbal communication skills.
