The role of a Health & Wellbeing Coordinator is to ensure that residents at Tall Trees Nursing and Dementia Home are provided with engaging and meaningful activities that promote their overall health and wellbeing. The coordinator will work closely with the care team to develop and implement a comprehensive activity program that caters to the diverse needs and interests of the residents.
Main duties of the job:
- Planning, organizing, and facilitating a wide range of activities that support the physical, emotional, and social well-being of the residents.
- Organizing group activities, individual therapies, outings, and special events.
- Working closely with the care team to understand the unique needs and preferences of each resident and tailor the activity program accordingly.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as physiotherapists and occupational therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.

Person Specification:
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in a similar position, such as an Activity Coordinator or Wellbeing Coordinator, in a care home or similar setting. A background in health, social care, or a related field would be an advantage. Strong interpersonal skills, creativity, and a genuine passion for improving the lives of older adults are essential.
