Description of duties
Overall purpose: Support the Marketing Manager in delivering B2B and B2C marketing activities for NDT and Coatings Inspection services. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to support the development of multichannel campaigns that meet customer needs and drive commercial growth. You will also contribute to the development and maintenance of learning materials and LMS activity, ensuring a high-quality, consistent, and brand-aligned learner experience.
Key performance areas
- Develop and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, print, social media, and events - from concept through to execution.
- Project manage the production and distribution of promotional materials, including brochures, banners, website content, merchandise, signage, advertising, and PR.
- Write, proofread, and edit engaging marketing and PR copy for internal and external audiences across online and offline platforms.
- Plan and schedule social media content, supporting campaign activity.
- Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistent application of brand guidelines across all communications.
- Set campaign objectives and monitor performance using tools such as Google Analytics, reporting on KPIs and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluate, monitor and advise the Marketing Manager on competitors and related activity as a means of informing future campaigns and tactics.
- Support the planning, organisation and attendance at key industry events.
- Liaise with suppliers for print, merchandise, and marketing services.
- Maintaining and updating learning materials (e.g. course notes, workbooks, presentations) to ensure quality and brand consistency.
- Support LMS related activities, including responding to queries, supporting enrolments, monitoring learner progress, and generating certificates for Level 3 online training.
- Contribute to wider marketing and learning materials projects.
- Plan and manage marketing activities within allocated budgets, highlighting to the Marketing Manager potential for overspend or underutilisation of budget, and reporting on the cost effectiveness of campaigns.

Essential
- Previous experience of working in a marketing role
- Strong copywriting, editing, and content creation skills for digital and print channels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience contributing to multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Demonstrable experience planning and delivering successful marketing campaigns
- Experience using digital marketing tools (e.g. Google Ads, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Ads or similar)
- Experience using CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress) and email marketing tools (e.g. Mailchimp)
- Working knowledge of design tools (e.g. Canva or Adobe InDesign, Photoshop)
- Strong understanding of brand application across multiple channels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to analyse campaign performance and using insights to inform improvements
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
- Proactive and collaborative, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
