The Office Administrator assists the Office Manager in professionally and responsibly co-ordinating the logistics and operations of Argyll Ruane (Dunfermline) courses and examinations by performing the following duties:

  • Invigilating NDT exams
  • Supporting the Office Manager and Trainers with administrative tasks

Key performance areas include:

  • Liaising with the Office Manager and staff at Argyll Ruane (Sheffield) to book students onto courses and examinations.
  • Providing invigilation services for NDT exams to certification standards (training provided).
  • Supporting all administrative tasks required by the Office Manager, Group Technical Manager and Trainers.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with an excellent telephone manner and customer service skills are essential. A willingness to be flexible as a member of a small team and the ability to work resourcefully without close supervision once comfortable in the role is required. Excellent administration skills, with high proficiency in Word, Outlook and Excel are necessary.
