Sous Chef Argyll Holiday - Drimsynie Holiday Village, Lochgoilhead Argyll Holidays are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team in a full-time, permanent role at Drimsynie Holiday Village, one of Scotland's leading holiday parks. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven chef who is confident running a kitchen and maintaining consistently high standards of food and service. Live in accommodation can be provided for the right candidate as a subsidised cost. Key Responsibilities Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, stepping up to lead in their absence. Oversee food preparation and service, ensuring dishes are cooked and presented to a high standard. Maintain excellent food hygiene, health and safety, and cleanliness throughout the kitchen. Help with menu planning, dish development, and specials. Train, supervise and motivate junior kitchen staff, leading by example. Manage stock, ordering and deliveries, minimising waste and controlling costs. Ensure all kitchen paperwork, labelling and temperature checks are completed accurately. Skills Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up. Confident running a busy kitchen service and maintaining high standards under pressure. Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP and kitchen cleanliness. Organised, reliable and calm, with a positive attitude and good communication skills. Passionate about quality food and consistent standards.
