A vacancy has arisen for a mobile mechanic to join our team, the post will be based in Dunoon, working for Argyll and Bute. Argyll and Bute is one of Scotland’s most stunning areas. As its award-winning council, we play a vital part in the day-to-day life and long-term future of our beautiful and diverse communities. The successful candidate will assist the Fleet, Waste & Infrastructure team to deliver an efficient, effective and high-quality service to users by carrying out the inspection, servicing, fault diagnosis and repair of all plant and vehicles used by the council and for all related activities as required. The successful candidate would need to be computer literate and be up to date with the latest version of the Guide To Maintaining Roadworthiness.

The successful candidate will be primarily based out of Dunoon however would be expected to work at other sites in Helensburgh and the Isle of Bute on a regular basis.
