An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader in our Waste and Amenity Services team, working for Argyll and Bute Council. Argyll and Bute is one of Scotland’s most stunning areas. As its award-winning council, we play a vital part in the day-to-day life and long-term future of our beautiful and diverse communities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day staff management and front line service delivery for:
- Ground maintenance
- Cemeteries
- Manual street sweeping
- Public conveniences
- Beach cleaning
- Refuse collection
- Waste disposal site operations
- Environmental enforcement activities
The jobholder will be expected to participate in emergency situation responses and standby duties as required, including out of hours working, for example winter maintenance.
