A pier operative is required at Dunoon Pier to fulfill tasks in connection with the Dunoon to Gourock ferry service and other harbour duties as required.

The Dunoon to Gourock ferry plays a huge role in our economies and supports community life. Your role is therefore vitally important. You will work an average of 43.4 hours per week (including 6.42 hours contracted overtime) over a three-week shift pattern. We will also expect you to take part in the call out rota. This is a permanent post.
