A vacancy has arisen for a Local Environment Team Operative to work in Lochgilphead for Argyll and Bute, one of Scotland's most beautiful areas. As its award-winning council, we play a vital part in the day-to-day life and long-term future of our beautiful and diverse communities. The successful candidate will work within the Local Environment Team carrying out multiple tasks within the Council’s area, to provide front line delivery of grounds maintenance, street sweeping, public conveniences and minor road works. Previous experience in ground maintenance, horticulture, road maintenance or waste management is essential to this role. This is a temporary post worked Monday to Friday.
