Argyll and Bute Council is seeking to recruit an IT Engineer to join the IT Applications team to support the operation of existing large Council systems and provide technical assistance in projects that require ICT expertise, such as in the introduction of new or replacement systems and technologies. This is a permanent hybrid post working 35 hours per week. Whilst the majority of this role can be carried out remotely, occasional team working in person is a requirement of the post so there is an expectation of periodic attendance in Lochgilphead or Helensburgh.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with relevant experience to join a dedicated and professional team engaged in supporting every aspect of the Council's business. The post holder will support Senior IT Engineers and the IT Officer to deliver high quality, efficient and effective ICT services to the Council and to fulfil the team’s service objectives and plans by working in partnership with colleagues, within and out with the service. You will have a minimum qualification at HNC level in an IT discipline.
