Argyll and Bute Council’s ICT Department are seeking an Engineer within the ICT Desktop Team. This is a permanent full-time post, working 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm) and is fully Office based in The Graham Williamson IT Centre, Helensburgh with a requirement to have access to a car/pool car to travel to ICT supported sites across Argyll and Bute. This is an exciting role working within a dynamic team which has a strong focus on customer service.
You must have up to date experience and strong skills centring on Microsoft operating systems, desktop applications and Microsoft 365 environment. Ideally, you will have experience in scripting and remote support along with excellent customer service experience and overall strengths in technical, troubleshooting and communication skills in addition to supporting and deploying to site Laptops, iPads and Chromebooks.
You will have a minimum qualification at HNC level in an IT discipline along with at least 2 years experience of working in a similar role, particularly supporting users within a large MS domain.
