Role Overview
This is a permanent hybrid post working 35 hours per week. The role is based primarily on remote work with occasional in‑person team collaboration in Lochgilphead or Helensburgh.
Responsibilities
- Support Senior IT Engineers and the IT Officer in delivering high‑quality, efficient, and effective ICT services to the Council.
- Work in partnership with colleagues within and beyond the service to meet the team's service objectives and plans.
- Provide technical assistance on projects requiring ICT expertise, such as the introduction of new or replacement systems and technologies.
- Travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Argyll and Bute and beyond to meet operational requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualification at HNC level in an IT discipline.
- Relevant experience in supporting large council systems and ICT projects is required.
