We have a vacancy for a Pier Operative to join our friendly team at Campbeltown Harbour. Argyll and Bute is one of Scotland’s most stunning areas. As its award-winning council, we play a vital part in the day-to-day life and long-term future of our beautiful and diverse communities. You will assist the Harbour Master to ensure the safe operation of harbours and piers in designated areas by carrying out duties relating to berthing, loading, unloading, mooring, parking and mustering, and ensuring all statutory requirements are met at all times. It would be beneficial if you have marine experience. You must have a good manner when dealing with the public, be a reliable team member and flexibility is essential to meet the exigencies of the service. On the job training will be provided. You will be required to travel between our facilities in Mid Argyll, Kintyre & Islay.
