Service: Education Argyll and Bute Educational Psychology Service are seeking to recruit 1.0 FTE temporary Educational Psychologist (12 months). The successful candidate will be required to travel to remote and rural locations, for example Campbeltown, as part of their role as a link psychologist to educational establishments. We are looking for a skilled and motivated educational psychologist who is passionate about working collaboratively with others to improve the life chances for all, with a particular focus on those children and young people who are most vulnerable.
As an Educational Psychologist in Argyll and Bute you will join a highly creative and skilled Educational Psychology Service. There is a focus on supporting Professional Development for all staff in line with service and authority priorities. The service is currently involved in a range of key strategic developments within the Education Service, and in collaboration with colleagues across the Health and Social Care Partnership. The office base for this post is negotiable. Psychologists offer a mix between remote and in-person service delivery across all functions.

This is a temporary post which may be filled on a secondment basis by an employee wishing to gain experience/career development and will be at the discretion of the employee’s Third Tier Manager.
