This is a temporary position with an expected contract end date of 30 April 2027. Interviews are expected to take place on Wednesday 21 October 2026. Shortlisted candidates will be offered an interview slot which they will be able to book.
We would love to welcome an enthusiastic Admin Assistant to join our friendly Payroll and Pensions team. Argyll and Bute is one of Scotland’s most stunning areas. About the role: You will work alongside a dedicated team to deliver an efficient and effective Payroll and Pensions service to employees across Argyll & Bute Council. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-quality service, ensuring the accurate and timely administration of payroll and pension processes while supporting employees throughout their employment lifecycle. This is a temporary part-time post working 17.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday mornings) and is office based in Kintyre House, Campbeltown.
About you: You must possess three National 4 or 5 qualification passes, or equivalent, including English. Please refer to the Job Description for the essential and desirable criteria of this post.
