Service: Financial Services - Accounting and Budgeting - Creditors
The Accounting and Budgeting Creditors team, based in Campbeltown, are looking to recruit a temporary full time Accounting Assistant to cover a period of maternity leave until August 2026. Although this is a full time post, a part time working pattern between 25 and 35 hours per week is negotiable, as well as the post location which could be undertaken remotely within any Argyll and Bute area.
You will be responsible for the processing of invoices as well as other general administrative duties. You will be required to work in an efficient and effective manner to ensure best value for the Council and to meet specific deadlines.
The successful candidate must have well developed IT Skills and have a flexible approach to working as an individual and part of a team. They should also be self-motivated and committed to ensuring work is completed to a high degree of accuracy and enjoy working with numbers.
