Due to a retirement an opportunity has arisen within the Resources Team in Helensburgh for a Home Care Procurement Officer. We are a small but supportive and friendly team. The successful candidate will be working closely with multi-disciplinary professionals within the Health and Social Care Partnership.

The post is located within the Jeanie Deans Centre in Helensburgh. The Resources Team is co-located with Health and Social Work colleagues. There is a strong integrated working ethic with a focus on a person-centred approach in order to achieve outcomes.

The primary responsibility of the team is to ensure that vulnerable adults are supported to live as independently as possible with the appropriate and quality assured services.

The team works very closely with independent care at home providers.

We are looking for someone with an understanding of the care at home service and who is committed to providing quality support to people in the community. You need to have good organisational and interpersonal skills and be able to work to deadlines. Crisis management skills are also essential and being able to problem solve.

A qualification at SVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is preferred. Alternatively to be prepared to work towards this.
