The Children and Families Social Work Admin Team in Helensburgh is seeking a well‑organised and professional individual with excellent communication skills and proven experience in a social work environment.
The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft 365 and committed to delivering high‑quality administrative support to social workers, team managers, and service managers.

This role offers vital administrative support to the Children and Families Social Work Team.
Key duties include managing documentation, taking minutes for child protection and care experienced meetings, facilitating effective communication, and ensuring statutory requirements are met with discretion and professionalism.
The applicant will have a sound understanding of GDPR and be able to process subject access requests (SARs) effectively within timescales.
Responsibilities include co‑ordinating bookings and appointments using the council's booking system, Share Point, and Outlook.
Full training will be provided on key systems and procedures, including the Eclipse the social work recording platform, purchase card usage, and coding transactions within the RBS system.

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- An individual with an unassuming and professional manner and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Experience in an administrative role, preferably within a social work or related environment.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and data security, including the appropriate handling of sensitive and potentially distressing information relating to children and families.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Sharepoint.
