We would love to welcome a solicitor to join our friendly Procurement and Commercial Contracts team in working for Argyll and Bute.
Argyll and Bute Council is looking for a diligent and motivated Solicitor to join its Procurement team for 1 year covering maternity leave.

The post will suit a candidate with a particular interest in procurement and commercial contract law, but also a willingness to deal with other areas of work.
You will be expected to provide advice on commercial contracts and procurement law to support the delivery of our Council services.
You should hold a law degree (LLB) and a Diploma in Legal Practice or Diploma in Professional Legal Practice or equivalent. You also should be a qualified solicitor holding (or eligible to hold) an unrestricted Practising Certificate issued by the Law Society of Scotland.
You should have the experience to work under limited supervision, with well-developed communication and IT skills and you must have a working knowledge of relevant legislation.
