The Social Work Admin Service deliversadministrativesupport to front line Social Work teams within the Argyll and Bute HSCP.

The Council holds a UK Skilled Worker sponsorship licence; however, this role does not meet the Home Office criteria for sponsorship. Applicants must therefore already have the right to work in the UK.

We have a full time, permanent admin support workervacancy within ourAdult Services areateam based inDunoon which is ideally suited to someone with good organisational, IT and admin skills.

This position will beoffice basedat Argyll House.

This position will, as part of the area admin team, provide high quality admin support to the local Social Work teams(plus any others-specify eg school nurses)who deliver agreed outcomes for localfamilies.

Themainresponsibilities of this role include:

  • Minute takingand meeting support
  • Monitoring team Email mailboxenquiries
  • Processing invoices and orders
  • Updating electronic service user records
  • Office/reception cover

Candidates for this role require to have:

  • A good basic education
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft office applications
  • Experience of office administration
  • Understanding of confidentiality and data security
  • Aninternal system checkundertakenin order toaccess Social Work databases.A PVG check may also berequiredwhere there is regular contact withfamilies.
