Argyll and Bute Council's Accounting and Budgeting Team are recruiting an Accounting Assistant to work within their Finance Support Team. This is a permanent post working 21 hours per week and can be based in Dunoon, Lochgilphead or undertaken remotely from any Argyll and Bute location.

The successful candidate will work within the Finance Support Team and assist the Finance Support Officer to provide high quality financial and administrative support. You must have well developed IT and Microsoft Excel skills and be confident working as an individual and part of a team. You should enjoy working with numbers, be self-motivated and committed to ensuring work is completed to a high degree of accuracy. You will be required to work in an efficient and effective manner to ensure best value for the Council and to meet specific deadlines.
