The Operations Engineer is a critical role in our infrastructure team supporting a growing set of applications and services on a highly available network. The role encompasses a wide range of technologies, including AWS, Windows, Azure, Linux and Juniper MIST networking. What will you be doing? As an Infrastructure Operations Engineer at Argus Media, you will be maintaining and manage the infrastructure systems and ensure a smooth operation of Argus Global Infrastructure. This role involves providing technical support, design, build and deployment of the infrastructure globally. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of Argus Media\’s infrastructure, ensuring good performance and reliability of all Argus systems. Working closely with IT teams across the Technology department, while staying informed about technology updates and implementing changes to enhance or secure the Argus infrastructure. Apply and support security principles within the infrastructure environment to protect company assets. Including but not limited RBAC, Least Privilege and Common design. Core Skills Manage email security, archiving, and compliance systems. Administer Microsoft Azure Active Directory. Utilize expertise in Microsoft Windows Server, VMware, Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, and Microsoft Intune. Ensure a strong understanding of networking concepts, including firewalls, VLANs, and routing. Contribute to and lead infrastructure projects to timelines and within budget. Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) to support daily operations tasks. Support and maintain AWS environments, systems, and services. Desirable Skills A good proficiency within Microsoft Intune including software packaging. Experience with desktop virtualization, particularly AWS Workspaces. Familiarity with source code management systems like GitHub. Knowledge of Mimecast Email Security Gateway and NASUNI File systems. Experience with Infrastructure as Code using tools such as CloudFormation or Ansible. Preferred Certifications AWS or Microsoft Azure certifications are beneficial.
