Consortium Professional Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with our valued client to recruit a Stock Controller to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong stock control and stores experience, ideally in an engineering or technical environment.

The Role

As Stock Controller, you\’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of inventory across the site. Youll be involved in a variety of day-to-day operational tasks that support the engineering team, including:

  • Issuing stock to engineers and putting stock away
  • Kit building for engineering projects
  • Stock checking and cycle counts
  • Supporting stores relocation, binning and labelling stock
  • Installing racking and maintaining an organised stores environment
  • Processing orders placing and booking in deliveries
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues based in other locations (remote IT connection provided)

This role offers a hands-on and varied workload and is ideal for someone who enjoys working both independently and as part of a wider engineering support team.

  • Proven experience in a stock control or stores-based role
  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Comfortable using IT systems for order processing and stock tracking
  • Experience in kit building and supporting engineering teams is highly desirable
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities and physical aspects of stores management
