Role and Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on a variety of machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimising downtime.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues promptly and efficiently to maintain production flow.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, preferably in a factory or a fast-paced production environment
- Must have served a recognised Engineering apprenticeship or be NVQ level 3 trained in either Mechanical, Electrical or Multi-skilled. Please note either bias will be considered
- Ability to repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Good understanding of preventive maintenance practices.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
