Consortium Professional Recruitment are proud to be working with a dynamic and fast-growing manufacturing business who are looking to recruit a Logistics Planner. This role will focus on planning efficient deliveries, managing subcontractor logistics, and handling key administrative tasks related to vehicle management, fleet planning, and cost control. Youll work cross-functionally to ensure customer and operational requirements are consistently met.
About The Role
As the Logistics Planner, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Plan and schedule deliveries to meet customer requirements, prioritising internal fleet.
- Maximise load efficiency and reduce costs using in-house planning systems.
- Manage fleet-related documentation, including vehicle checks, fuel usage, and timesheets.
- Liaise with subcontractors, manage their invoicing, and support accurate reconciliation.
- Coordinate returns between sites and arrange hotel bookings for fleet drivers.
- Monitor and record vehicle mileage and assist with fleet maintenance planning.
- Ensure accurate delivery of products and accessories, including direct-to-customer orders.
- Support the business in improving logistics efficiency and maintaining service excellence.
About you:
- 3 years experience in logistics planning or administration.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Confident working with planning systems and analysing data.
