We are currently looking for an outstanding Senior Global Account Manager to join our highly successful commercial team. The Senior Global Account Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding Argus’ relationships with some of our largest and most strategically important clients worldwide. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and hands‑on leadership across complex, multi‑market opportunities. You will be responsible for shaping and executing the growth strategy for a portfolio of global accounts, supported by a team of internal specialists across regions and functions. Your immediate priority will be to drive sustainable revenue growth within your assigned global territory while balancing short‑term performance with long‑term strategic value creation. Our opportunities are wide-ranging, including market data of strategic importance, reports, business intelligence and bespoke consultancy services. Given the breadth and scale of these opportunities require someone who is highly capable of multitasking, prioritising effectively, and taking initiative to move opportunities forward with pace and precision. Success in this role demands intelligence, commercial sharpness, and the ability to navigate complexity with confidence. You must be comfortable leading high‑stakes negotiations, influencing senior stakeholders, and building trusted relationships at every level—from operational contacts to the C‑suite. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of global strategic accounts in close partnership with your leader to achieve revenue targets.
  • Design and execute creative, sustainable growth strategies for your accounts, aligning closely with leadership.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities within your accounts, leveraging internal specialists to deliver value.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline and a clear business plan to guide account development and team activity.
  • Partner with the Business Development team to identify and shape longer‑term opportunities.
  • Coordinate internal resources across regions and functions to maximise client value and ensure a clear path to renewal and expansion.
  • Strengthen client relationships to maximise satisfaction, deepen engagement, and position Argus as a trusted advisor.
  • Maintain strong communication with Editorial teams to stay current on Argus products and with Marketing to understand upcoming campaigns.
  • Manage all administrative aspects of your accounts through effective use of Argus’ CRM and related systems.
  • Provide insight to management on emerging client needs and future buying trends.

Skills And Experience

  • A very successful track record of B2B sales of data/IP, including with senior level account management.
  • 10+ years’ experience dealing with an international client base.
  • Outstanding customer focus and track record of dealing with stakeholders from mid to senior management levels.
  • Excellent negotiating skills and strong capacity to navigate conversations around complex licensing structures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills and ability to ‘network’ to get results for your clients.
  • Having a solution focused approach to account management.
  • Excellent management of priorities with a focus on client-related tasks.
  • Excellent upward management demonstrating ownership of commercial responsibilities.
  • Self‑motivated, confident and results driven individual.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Good Excel proficiency.
  • French and Arabic spoken language is a plus.
  • Educated to Degree level or above.

Travel

Willingness to travel at least 25-50% of the time to visit clients and attend meetings and conferences (mainly European and occasional overseas travels).
