The team is now developing an initiative to significantly enhance and expand coverage and analysis of long term oil and energy markets and trends. A key focus will be the impact and implications of the energy transition on global refining, its operators and markets. Critically, it will need to place downstream oil market analysis within the context of moves to decarbonise global energy systems and adopt new alternative fuels. This new hire will help lead this initiative and will be responsible for developing, guiding and delivering content and product across this space. In addition to their role here they should also expect to be involved in the existing short term forecasting activities of the team, helping guide and develop content and communicating results and narrative as appropriate.

- Develop new products and deliverables to commercialise the new analysis and forecasts
- Communicate analytical outcome and narrative to subscribers and internal stakeholders, in both written and verbal form

- Pursue the development and commercialisation of new products
