We are looking for a passionate, driven, and resourceful Graduate Conference Executive to join our expanding global team on a two-year graduate programme. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with no or limited conference work experience to establish and grow their career in conferences. The role involves delivering commercially successful, well-attended, and critically respected conferences.
Graduate Programme Overview
The programme covers four conference disciplines – Operations, Production, Marketing, and Sales. Placements are six months long in each function, providing a full understanding of each team and project involvement. Participants receive industry training and a mentor in each function.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in four different functions within conferences.

- Identify leading speakers for each programme.
- Build and understand a market map for each conference, assessing the value of buy-sell relationships.
- Understand how market developments impact operating sectors.
Operations Responsibilities
- Search for venues and carry out basic venue searches.
- Manage speakers, sponsors, and partners throughout the event in liaison with Conference Producer and Sponsorship Manager.
- Make business-related logistics decisions and lead the on-site team to ensure smooth event execution.
- Organise and produce set design, signage, and networking app.
Sales Responsibilities
- Strategise with the sales team to drive conference sponsorship.
- Research and secure new leads for conference campaigns.
- Master the company CRM system, upload contracts, and create sales reports.
- Engage directly with customers to sell meeting rooms.
- Attend weekly sales meetings and update pipeline progress.
Marketing Responsibilities
- Gain experience in multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Create marketing materials such as digital banners, brochures, website visuals, and social media content.
- Build and schedule email and social media campaigns.
- Identify marketing partners, cultivate relationships, and coordinate with industry associations and media.
- Manage budgets, track bookings, and report campaign results using data and analytics.
