We are looking for a DevOps Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer to join our platform and infrastructure team. The role focuses on building, operating, and supporting cloud infrastructure in AWS, enabling engineering teams through automation, infrastructure as code, and reliable CI/CD pipelines. This position blends core DevOps engineering with some operational support responsibilities, working closely with application and engineering teams to ensure systems are secure, scalable, and highly available.

What Will You Be Doing

  • Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure primarily in AWS, using Infrastructure as Code (AWS CloudFormation)
  • Implement and maintain configuration management using Ansible (or equivalent tools such as Chef or other configuration management systems)
  • Support and improve the reliability, availability, and performance of production systems
  • Provide DevOps‑related support to engineering teams, including incident resolution, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, supporting automated build, test, and deployment workflows
  • Work with Linux‑based infrastructure as the primary platform, with some Windows Server environments
  • Write and maintain automation and operational scripts using Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell
  • Manage and collaborate on code using Git (GitLab preferred), following best practices for version control and code review
  • Contribute to improving platform standards, documentation, and operational processes

Skills And Experience

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or similar role
  • Strong experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally AWS CloudFormation
  • Experience with configuration management tools, preferably Ansible (experience with Chef or similar tools is also acceptable)
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tooling
  • Ability to write scripts and automation using at least one of Python, Bash, or PowerShell

Desirable Skills And Experience

  • Previous support or operational experience (beneficial but not essential)
  • Experience supporting multiple engineering teams in a shared platform or DevOps enablement role
  • Experience with GitLab CI or similar pipeline tooling
  • Knowledge of monitoring, alerting, and reliability practices
