This is a hands-on interim role requiring someone who can quickly add value, bring structure to a fast-paced environment, and support the evolution of the procurement function. A key focus of the role will be leveraging Power BI to enhance procurement reporting, spend visibility, and business intelligence as the organisation transitions to a more data-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement activities across R&D, clinical development, manufacturing, and supply chain categories.
  • Manage sourcing, supplier negotiations, contracts, and supplier performance.
  • Support procurement activities relating to raw materials, clinical trial supplies, CROs, CDMOs, and specialist service providers.
  • Develop and maintain procurement dashboards, reporting, and spend analytics using Power BI.
  • Deliver cost-saving initiatives, improve supplier performance, and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Support procurement governance within GMP, GDP, and GCP-regulated environments.

About You

  • Proven procurement experience within biopharma, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or another highly regulated industry.
  • Experience sourcing raw materials, manufacturing categories, clinical services, and supplier partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of procurement across R&D, pre-clinical, Phase I–III clinical development, and manufacturing operations.
  • Advanced Power BI experience is essential.
  • Able to hit the ground running, manage ambiguity, and thrive in a changing environment.
  • Strong commercial, analytical, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.

Why Apply?

  • Immediate opportunity to make a visible impact.
  • Play a key role in procurement transformation and reporting improvement.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders across a growing global organisation.
  • Hybrid working with flexibility and autonomy.
