Interim Global Senior Procurement Specialist
London (Hybrid)
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to join a rapidly growing biopharma organisation during a critical period of transformation.
This is a hands-on interim role requiring someone who can quickly add value, bring structure to a fast-paced environment, and support the evolution of the procurement function. A key focus of the role will be leveraging Power BI to enhance procurement reporting, spend visibility, and business intelligence as the organisation transitions to a more data-driven approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement activities across R&D, clinical development, manufacturing, and supply chain categories.
- Manage sourcing, supplier negotiations, contracts, and supplier performance.
- Support procurement activities relating to raw materials, clinical trial supplies, CROs, CDMOs, and specialist service providers.
- Develop and maintain procurement dashboards, reporting, and spend analytics using Power BI.
- Deliver cost-saving initiatives, improve supplier performance, and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Support procurement governance within GMP, GDP, and GCP-regulated environments.
About You
- Proven procurement experience within biopharma, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or another highly regulated industry.
- Experience sourcing raw materials, manufacturing categories, clinical services, and supplier partnerships.
- Strong understanding of procurement across R&D, pre-clinical, Phase I–III clinical development, and manufacturing operations.
- Advanced Power BI experience is essential.
- Able to hit the ground running, manage ambiguity, and thrive in a changing environment.
- Strong commercial, analytical, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
