Commercial Manager to support a global business by providing commercial leadership, risk management and strategic advice across new and existing client accounts. This role plays a key part in driving long-term growth and profitability by educating, influencing and advising stakeholders on commercial best practices within a fast-paced international environment.
We're looking for a commercially astute professional with strong experience in commercial contracts, stakeholder management, outsourcing and facilities management environments. Key areas include:
- Leading the commercial position across key client accounts and supporting business growth initiatives
- Acting as the subject matter expert on commercial agreements, including contract terms, risks, rewards, liabilities and financial obligations
- Advising on commercial, operational and financial risk while ensuring contractual compliance
- Supporting new business transitions and mobilisations, including risk mitigation and change management activities
- Working closely with operational, procurement, legal, finance and leadership teams to drive commercial best practice
- Attending customer meetings, contract reviews and governance forums, providing commercial insight and reporting
- Delivering commercial training and developing bespoke learning programmes for large and strategic accounts
- Supporting cost control, contract performance and the effective management of contractual change
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Commercial Manager or similar commercial leadership role
- Strong commercial contracts and stakeholder management background
- Experience supporting outsourcing, facilities management or complex service-based contracts
- Excellent understanding of commercial risk, governance, compliance and change management
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders across operational, procurement, finance and legal functions
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
- Experience working within large, multinational organisations is advantageous
Hybrid role with occasional travel. Candidates should be based within reasonable commuting distance of the Birmingham or Yorkshire area, with office attendance required as business needs dictate.
