We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Commercial Officer to join a growing commercial team within the Defence & Aerospace sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused professional looking to work on complex and high-value programmes in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will support the full commercial lifecycle, working closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers to ensure contractual compliance and commercial success across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of commercial agreements including:
    • Customer contracts
    • Supplier agreements
    • Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
    • Terms & Conditions
  • Supporting both pre-signature and post-signature commercial activities
  • Providing commercial guidance to project and programme teams
  • Managing contractual risk and ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Supporting contract change management and dispute resolution where required
  • Building strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years’ commercial experience within Defence, Aerospace, or a highly regulated industry
  • Strong understanding of contract management principles
  • Experience drafting and reviewing contracts and NDAs
  • Exposure to both pre-contract and post-contract commercial activities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of UK MoD contracting environments
  • Familiarity with DEFCONs or aerospace industry contracts
  • Degree qualified in Law, Business, Commercial Management, or similar discipline
