Are you a commercially astute deal-maker who thrives on negotiation, loves finding the win-win, and can draft your own contract terms without leaning on legal? This could be your next move.
We're working exclusively with a global leader in real estate and integrated facilities management services to find a Commercial Manager to join their local FM team in Glasgow.
About the role
This is a genuinely commercial, deal-led position roughly 80% pre-contract - covering everything from new business pursuits and solution development through to expansions, re-tenders and retention strategies. You'll be negotiating complex deals worth millions, often starting with a single service and growing into multi-service accounts over time.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading commercial negotiations across new business, expansions and re-tenders
- Drafting contract terms and conditions independently - no templates, no relying on legal
- Finding commercially sound win-win outcomes for both client and business
- Building and influencing relationships with senior stakeholders, internally and externally
- Advising on risk, deliverability and profitability across the full deal lifecycle
- Supporting mobilisation of new contract wins alongside operational and procurement teams
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years in a similar commercial/deal-leading role
- Proven ability to negotiate and draft contracts independently
- A track record leading complex, high-value commercial deals
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working at pace in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment
- Degree qualified or equivalent
What's on offer:
- £75,000–£85,000 base salary
- £5,000 car allowance
- Up to 20% bonus
- Hybrid working - 2 days a week in the Glasgow office
- The chance to work on genuinely high-value, high-visibility deals within a global business
If you're a confident, energetic commercial operator who enjoys ambiguity as much as you enjoy closing a deal, we'd love to hear from you.
