The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join our growing software business and take ownership of the full contract lifecycle for our customer agreements. This role is ideal for someone who is commercially sharp, confident drafting contracts, and comfortable leading negotiations directly with clients.
You’ll work closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Delivery teams to ensure contracts are commercially robust, risks are managed, and deals are structured to support long-term growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Owning the end-to-end commercial management of customer contracts, from pre-contract through to renewal and exit
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating software and services contracts, including MSAs, SOWs, SaaS agreements, and variations
- Leading commercial negotiations with clients, balancing risk, margin, and customer relationships
- Partnering with Sales to support deal structuring, pricing, and contract strategy
- Managing contract changes, renewals, extensions, and dispute resolution
- Ensuring contracts comply with internal commercial policies and governance
- Identifying and mitigating commercial, financial, and contractual risks
- Supporting revenue, margin, and performance reporting across the contract portfolio
- Acting as a trusted commercial advisor to internal stakeholders
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in a Commercial Manager or similar role within a software, SaaS, or technology-led business
- Strong contract drafting capability and hands-on negotiation experience with customers
- Solid understanding of the full contract lifecycle and commercial risk management
- Confidence working directly with senior internal and external stakeholders
- Commercially minded, pragmatic, and solutions-focused
