The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to take full ownership of the end-to-end commercial and contractual lifecycle across our portfolio. This is a senior, influential role, working closely with operational, legal, finance, and senior leadership teams to ensure commercial excellence, risk management, and sustainable profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for the contract lifecycle, from bid support and negotiation through execution, variation, and close-out
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts, terms & conditions, and commercial frameworks
- Identify, manage, and mitigate commercial and contractual risk
- Manage change control, variations, claims, and dispute resolution where required
- Provide commercial insight, forecasting, and reporting to senior stakeholders
- Support bid and tender processes, including pricing strategies and commercial reviews
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with company governance, policies, and relevant regulations.
About You
- Proven experience in a Senior Commercial Manager / Commercial Manager role
- Strong background in managing the full contract lifecycle
- Excellent commercial, contractual, and negotiation skills
- Comfortable operating at senior stakeholder level
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to balance risk and opportunity
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, security, or regulated environments is advantageous
