- We are supporting a major UK defence programme with the appointment of an experienced
Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to provide interim support on a high-profile and complex portfolio.
Working within a highly regulated environment, you will play a key role in driving procurement strategy, managing supplier relationships and supporting the successful delivery of critical programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities across complex categories and work packages.
- Negotiate and manage high-value contracts with key suppliers.
- Drive commercial outcomes while ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Support supplier performance, risk management and contract change activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve value, resilience and supply chain performance.
- Work closely with programme teams to ensure procurement activities align with delivery objectives.
Experience Required
- Strong procurement and supply chain experience gained within the
Defence sector .
- Proven track record of contract negotiation and contract management.
- Experience managing complex supplier relationships and delivering strategic sourcing activities.
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Understanding of governance and compliance requirements within highly regulated environments.
Active UK Security Clearance (SC or above) is essential.
