We’re looking for an experienced Procurement professional to manage a major, complex subcontract within a Defence & Aerospace environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage supplier/subcontractor performance across delivery, quality, cost and contractual obligations
- Lead complex commercial negotiations and resolve supplier issues
- Manage and develop key supplier and stakeholder relationships
- Execute contractual documentation and binding agreements
- Drive cost savings, value creation and risk mitigation
- Monitor supplier KPIs and performance
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve supplier and contract performance
- Support continuous improvement and contracting strategies
Experience required:
- Ideally 10+ years’ relevant Procurement / Supply Chain / Subcontract experience
- Defence industry experience strongly preferred
- Experience working with UK MoD regulations and contractual flowdowns
- Strong commercial and contractual acumen
- Ability to draft, negotiate and interpret contractual Terms & Conditions
- Strong supplier and stakeholder management skills
- SAP / ERP knowledge
- MCIPS desirable
