Procurement Specialist – UK Defence - Up to £55,000 plus bonus - Bristol (Hybrid)
An exciting opportunity to join a leading aerospace & defence organisation. This role is ideal for a commercially minded procurement professional who enjoys operating in complex, regulated environments and taking real ownership of supplier performance and contract delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading end-to-end procurement and contract placement for goods and services across defence sustainment programmes
- Developing and executing sourcing strategies and supporting bid / campaign activity
- Managing key supplier relationships across delivery, quality, technical and commercial performance
- Working closely with engineering and programme teams to build and maintain an effective supply chain architecture
- Identifying and managing risk, issues and opportunities across the supply base
About you:
- 3–5+ years’ experience in procurement, commercial or supply chain within aerospace, defence or MRO
- Strong experience drafting and negotiating contracts and managing major subcontracts
- Comfortable working in complex, multi-stakeholder programme environments
- Experience using SAP / Ariba and strong Microsoft Office skills
- Able to influence and communicate effectively with engineering and programme teams
