Our client, an international property services business, currently have an opportunity for a Commercial Manager within a fast growing commercial department. This is a unique opportunity, a chance to be truly strategic and shape the future of the organisation.

The company has a long and successful history of delivering large projects to various private and public sector clients and is on a journey to change the way they do business – looking for ambitious, commercially minded individuals to help them get to the next level!

The role holder will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead the commercial negotiation of new business with both new and existing clients.
  • Shape the strategic direction of the function.
  • Identify the risks, liabilities, and commitments of contractual agreements.
  • Monitor and report performance and compliance against contractual obligations including commercial performance, financial management, and contract management.
  • Work with the contract delivery teams to ensure that the management of change request process and change implementation is carried out in line with the contracts.
  • Report on progress of change requests and projects.
  • Review contract performance, assessing commercial risks and ensuring appropriate steps are taken to manage the risk.
  • Assure adherence to Group Commercial Policy.
  • Support the client engagement teams in all commercial aspects, post contract signature, to achieve the orders, profit and cash budget and overall management of the Client relationship.
  • Support the delivery streams responsible for the delivery of projects and provide clear direction working with the client engagement team.
