SAP Procurement & Supply Chain Manager

3-6 Month Contract, Inside IR35

Remote, UK

SC Clearance

Are you an experienced SAP User with deep knowledge of Procurement and Supply Chain processes? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where designs change quickly, and no two days look the same? If so, this role could be a perfect fit for you.

We’re seeking a hands-on SAP Super User to become the central point of expertise within the Procurement and Supply Chain team of a growing defence business. In this role, you’ll not only master SAP’s complexities yourself but also train, support, and enable others to get the very best from the system.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the go-to expert for all SAP Procurement & Supply Chain processes (MM/PP modules).
  • Train and support end-users across the full workflow: from demand planning (MRP) and purchase requisitions to purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoice processes.
  • Be the first line of support for troubleshooting and resolving SAP issues.
  • Serve as the liaison between end-users, management, and IT, communicating requirements and feedback.
  • Drive process improvements in procurement and supply chain workflows, particularly with dynamic BOMs and hardware designs.
  • Support system enhancements and implementations, including testing, validation, and rollout.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and training materials to ensure consistency and efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven end-to-end procurement cycle experience as an SAP user, including demand planning (MRP), requisitions, POs, goods receipts, and invoice management.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP MM (Materials Management) and preferably SAP PP (Production Planning).
  • Experience managing master data (materials, vendors, etc.).
  • A genuine SAP “Super User” background — someone who has used the system daily, not just at a high level or as a consultant.
  • Exposure to engineering/manufacturing environments with evolving designs and changing BOMs (highly desirable).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train, support, and enable colleagues.

If you’re passionate about SAP, Procurement, and Supply Chain excellence, and you love enabling others to succeed, we’d love to hear from you.
