Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the lead procurement partner to senior Defence stakeholders; ensuring procurement strategy aligns with operational and growth priorities.
  • Provide end-to-end procurement support to complex bids, transitions, and contract mobilisations, shaping compliant and competitive supply chain solutions.
  • Engage early with growth and bid teams to influence commercial models, cost assumptions, and supplier architecture.
  • Develop and maintain a forward procurement plan aligned to broader category and organisational strategies.
  • Own delivery of procurement performance targets, including savings, value creation, and benefit realisation.
  • Identify business-critical suppliers and lead supplier risk, performance, and mitigation activity.
  • Ensure sourcing activity follows appropriate governance, approval, and assurance frameworks.
  • Track spend, compliance, and supplier performance, intervening where required to protect outcomes.
