Our client, a rapidly growing organisation operating at the intersection of defence, technology, and innovation, is seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Analyst/Business Partner to join their expanding team. This is a high-impact role, supporting major programmes and international operations while helping shape commercial and financial strategy across the business.
We’re looking for a candidate who combines strong commercial acumen with robust financial expertise, particularly in the context of large, complex contracts or deals—ideally within the defence, aerospace, or advanced technology sectors. You’ll play a key part in driving financial planning, commercial governance, and business performance, working closely with senior stakeholders across both the UK and international markets.
Key Responsibilities- Lead commercial financial analysis and support strategic decision-making on major deals and bids
- Partner with leadership teams to develop and implement commercial strategy and financial controls
- Provide insights into contract performance, risk, and value optimisation
- Support international growth and cross-border commercial initiatives
- Ensure compliance with internal and external governance, including defence-related standards
- Strong background in commercial finance or commercial management in complex, high-value environments
- Experience working on major bids, contracts, or strategic partnerships
- Ideally from defence, aerospace, or advanced technology sectors
- Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills
- Eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC level or above)
