A leading facilities management provider is hiring a Commercial Manager to support their growth, managing a key portfolio of contracts and taking the commercial lead on new business. This isn’t post-deal clean-up. It’s upstream risk management, negotiation, and governance — embedded with the bid team, steering the right conversations early.

The role:

  • Lead contractual review and negotiation on new business opportunities.
  • Work alongside legal, finance, and sales to ensure compliance with internal policies and commercial frameworks.
  • Draft and refine contract schedules, commercial appendices, and key terms.
  • Flag legal and commercial risks in bids and tenders — and propose viable mitigations.
  • Support internal governance and sign-off processes, ensuring deals are properly structured before approval.
  • Influence commercial strategy and pricing through a risk-aware lens.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience negotiating FM or outsourced services contracts (T&Cs, liabilities, indemnities, etc.).
  • Ability to balance legal detail with commercial pragmatism, drafting bespoke contracts is key, NEC contract experience would be ideal.
  • Skilled communicator with the confidence to challenge assumptions and protect commercial interests.
  • Degree in law, business, or a relevant discipline preferred.

Why it’s worth a look:

This is a business growing rapidly. You’ll be part of a lean, commercially switched-on team that wants to win work the right way — with legally sound, well-structured contracts that protect the bottom line.
