The District Manager is a brand new role. They will lead teams of around 16 Store Managers and serve as operational experts within the Argos business, providing hands-on support and daily coaching to boost business performance and achieve store KPIs. Although a field-based role, we expect District Managers to be in their shops, operating on-the-ground to drive performance in their teams, champion operational excellence, and ensure process compliance, all while making every Argos experience brilliant for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates a focus on customer service, putting the customer at the heart of key decisions.
  • Demonstrates success in having had a positive influence on KPIs and business performance.
  • Demonstrates the importance of building relationships.
  • Understands the importance of prioritisation to generate the most successful results.
  • Experience in managing ER cases.
  • A proven ability to lead teams of managers, experience doing this remotely would be advantageous, with a key focus on coaching and development.
