Introduction to role:
My client is a global market leader in baggage handling systems for airports, sorting systems for distribution and postal services, and Warehouse Solutions. Working within their Distribution Centre, the Team Leader will be leading, coordinating & managing the Service technicians and ESO's to ensure productivity & output, equipment availability, H&S compliance, quality, Maximo reporting, and team working is optimised in accordance with agreed timescales.
Role Responsibilities:
This role will involve maintaining and optimising the performance of the equipment and staff in terms of operational safety, availability, responsiveness, and throughput to meet the contractual service levels. Act as first point of escalation and seek to resolve issues as they arise. Focused on maximising the operational output of the system.
Your responsibilities and activities will include:
- Responsible for the maintenance team and any contractors working on their behalf with the primary objective to achieve operational excellence.
