The Role: As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, repairs, and installations across a range of production equipment and plant machinery. You will work as part of a small, skilled maintenance team ensuring machinery runs efficiently and downtime is kept to a minimum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical maintenance, fault finding, and repair work on manufacturing equipment.
- Carry out installations, strip downs, and rebuilds as required.
- Work from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Support production teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Participate in an evening cover rota (1 in every 5 weeks).
